This role is required to deliver quality Project Controls within the Group Development, Projects and Engineering Team based in the UK. With a bias towards/background in Planning, this individual will be expected to also fulfil other key areas such as Risk Management, Reporting and Interface Management.

Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
• Provide Planning support to all projects in the P&E portfolio, run planning workshops with the teams to develop plans, maintain and progress plans with input from the team including contractors, and provide critical path analysis and progress reporting (key KPIs)
• Ensure alignment with department Cost Engineer(s) to ensure accuracy with VOWD
• Develop and maintain Summary Integrated Plan(s)
• Liaise with TGL Integrated Asset Planning (IAP) Team incountry to ensure all P&E activities are scheduled within the appropriate planning horizon, with the required POB forecasts and clearly identifying any production deferments
• Work with incountry C&P to develop and maintain a P&E Contracts Register and Procurement Plan
• Ensure integrity and control of planning assumptions that feed into economic analysis – coordinate the EDIS (Economic Data Input Sheet) process for P&E
• Ensure all Group Reporting requirements and met with quality P&E input, including input to:
o Internal Performance Reviews
o Joint Venture Partner Meetings
o Audits/Technical Banks

Working with Project Leads, develop and maintain Performance Dashboards for issue to key internal and external stakeholders
• Work with Project Leads to develop and maintain a systematic approach to Risk Management
• Ensure Top 10 Risks are fed into the overall BU Risk Matrix
• Work with the Project Controls Manager to ensure all relevant actions are tracked and critical interfaces are managed

Education:
 Professional Degree or equivalent experience

Skills:
• At least 10 years of Project Controls experience in the offshore oil and gas industry;
• Good knowledge and application of Planning Engineering principles;
• Good understanding of the process for Risk Management & Mitigation;
• Knowledge of design and implementation of projects preferably in the offshore oil and gas industry;
• The ability to consolidate project data from a number of sources for overall presentation;
• Good familiarity and experience with project reporting requirements;
• Working experience with established planning software;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must have;
• Confident user of other Microsoft Office applications.
